Subscriptions

If the over70 card was issued before June 2018, you can request a new card for free. If the over70 card was issued after June 2018, you can request a duplicate for which it is necessary to:

Yes, you can activate it at a metro turnstile, parking meters, and ATAC automatic dispensers only if the subscription also includes Zone A (City of Rome).

You can go to one of the Cotral automatic MEB title issuing machines located at stations such as Anagnina, Laurentina, Ponte Mammolo, Saxa Rubra, Rieti, Viterbo, Frosinone, and Passo Corese by inserting the card into the correct slot and typing on the display “manage my Metrebus card” with the simultaneous issue of the original receipt. Alternatively, you can request it from one of our verifiers.
Yes, with the Metrebus student card, you can recharge all types of subscriptions: annual, monthly, and students. With the regular Metrebus card, you can only recharge annual and monthly subscriptions, not student ones.
It depends on the type of subscription:
– Monthly: A recharge done before the 26th of the month is always valid for the current month. From the 26th onwards, the recharge can be made for the following month. For example, recharging a monthly subscription on April 15th will validate it for April. If recharged from April 26th onwards, you can choose whether the recharge is for May.
– Annual: Valid from the day of recharge for one year.
– Students: Always valid from September 1st to June 30th.
The subscription needs to be “materialized”:
– If the recharge is made through our website, after 24 hours you can activate the subscription at a Meb or through one of our verifiers.
– If the recharge is done at one of our ticket offices, activation of the ticket is not necessary. In this case, we always advise verifying that the zones purchased are correct, otherwise, you must immediately notify the ticket office.
Yes, if the subscription includes at least one zone beyond zone A.
Once you receive the Metrebus Card, you can recharge it on our website or at one of our ticket offices.
No student discount can be applied to a monthly pass.
On your student Metrebus Card (which has not yet been loaded), you can load either a monthly pass (at full price) or a student pass (valid from September to June).
If you are under 26 and need a pass for the period from September to June, you can purchase a student pass. During the online form completion, select the “student” category. Once you receive the Card, you can load it directly from our website.
The request can be made on our website by following the usual procedure to request a Metrebus Card. For requests concerning children under 14 years of age, a person with parental responsibility must provide their own identification document along with the child’s (photograph both documents together).
You can use the pass only when you have it in your possession and can carry it with you. The receipt from the completed recharge does not replace the travel document.
